About Us
OM SWASTIASTU
Bali Dewata (Balinese Community Associations of Western Australia Incorporated) was officially established as a not-for-profit association on March 16, 2004. Our community originated as a small group of Balinese residents in Perth and has since evolved into a vibrant and supportive community dedicated to preserving Balinese culture and Hindu Dharma. This incorporated organisation is open to both temporary and permanent residents of Western Australia.
Our Vision: Maintain, Preserve and Protect
Together, we build a future where the Balinese Community in Western Australia flourishes, creating opportunities, celebrating cultures, and making lasting contributions.
Our Philosophy
One of the central concepts that encapsulates the essence of Balinese life is the Tri Hita Karana. This philosophy emphasises the importance of harmony and balance in three fundamental connections: human connections with other humans, humans with nature, and humans with the creator. The Tri Hita Karana concept in Bali Hinduism is considered the cornerstone of Bali's prosperity, promoting well-being and social coherence.
